The Bee Gees, Angels On Earth
The Bees Gees are Not Like Other Groups, They are Not Like any Other Composers, Musicians, Singers or Artists. Indeed The Bee Gees are not Like any other Human Beings, They are Like Angels On Earth. The Bee Gees Started singing around 1955, When twin Brothers Maurice and Robin were only 5 or 6 years old. The three boys would sit around their bedroom, in their home in the isle of man, where all of the boys had been born, and they would Dream Of being Famous and respected for their Musical talents. The Bee Gees were very Poor in their youth, Living off of white bread and other times being left starving, but money was never the driving force of their hunger for fame. They truly wanted to be recognized for their music, to be accepted and to be seen, just like the humble souls they always were. So Kind, So Generous, So Caring, So Gentle, So Tender, the Gibbs were so angelic, They seemed to be from an entirely different world. But they were also very Human, Real, Deeper Than a thousand oceans, warmer than all of the suns in space, Lovelier than every Beauty in the world, all there to behold in three Human Angels. Robin, Maurice and Barry. They are The Bee Gees, Forever and all time, A Blessing to the world.
The Bee Gees as Children
The Bee Gees were NEVER a “Boy Band”, but they started performing as very young children. Robin Gibb spoke of this in various interviews, and to the point he made, it is incredible when you think of the fact that they were never taught to play music, they were never trained to sing, or shown how to write music, and yet they wrote songs with the skills of classical composers and lyrics with the skills of revered poets. All this they had been doing since the twins were around 6 and Barry was about 9. When the Twins were around 9 years old, The entire Gibb Family moved to Australia, and they went halfway around the world. Barry Gibb gives credit to The Bee Gees diverse and relatable subjects in their wonderous music. The First Big hit that the boys had was called wine and women, but this song came up when they were already a little older. singing and Creating Music helped to calm the hearts and souls of the Bee Gees, after a Rocky and Rough start with their harsh and struggle filled emergence into the world in the Isle of man, A sense of calm and a better life was found in for The Gibbs In Australia. The Boys each Had Their own beds, when Robin, Maurice and Barry had shared one bed and had to share the covers for the earliest part of their youth. And most of the problems that had Haunted them were lesser for These wonderful Souls now. Andy Gibb, Was born in 1958, and he was just a little thing when they all picked up and moved to Australia. The Bond Between the brothers was beautiful, Robin Gibb would often refer to Himself, Adored twin Maurice, and older Brother Barry as Triplets, and Barry Gibb would often Refer to Andy as His own Twin. The Four Brothers, were Such a Divine force of Love and Goodness, one unlike any other.
Lesley Evans Gibb, Yes The Bee Gees have a Sister!
The Bee Gees Were made up Of Robin Gibb, His Twin Brother Maurice Gibb and older Brother by 3 years, Barry Gibb. Andy Gibb, who was 9 years young then Brothers Robin and Maurice was always interested in music, But Andy’s older sister, did not share the Family passion for Music. She fell in love at a very young age, and she pursued her own passions involving caring for animals. She and her husband always enjoyed Living in Australia, where they had some kind of animal shelter together, if I am not mistaken. Lesley sang for a very short Period of time, With brothers Maurice and Barry Professionally, in 1969, but soon after returned to her private and happy personal life, Gladly after Robin retuned to Recording and Preforming with The Bee Gees. You can Hear The Bee Gees Often send Love To Lesley when They are Interviewed in Australia. The Gibb Brothers Loved Their sister every bit as much as they loved each other.
Robin Gibb
Like Many Others, For me, It was Love at First Sight For Me when I saw Robin Gibb. I saw his eyes, and I swear I could see his soul, His entire Gorgeous, Sensitive, Emotional, Caring Giving Soul, all from a look into his eyes. I did not know much about Robin when I was young. I knew He was absolutely Beautiful, A divine sight for the eyes, a heavenly pleasure to behold, but aside from tiny interview clips and bits, my Non-internet possessing house, (In a very different time of my life), what I saw and taught me very little about Robin Gibb. I Clung to the few Performances and appearances local and public television gave me of this Angel, and I know that Robin Has Saved me from Emptiness and the fate of a Brokenhearted soul. His voice is the Most Emotional and Heartbreakingly beautiful voice I have ever heard in my life. Robin Gibb’s voice Is Divine, It is so gorgeous it seems right it should belong to an Angel Like Robin. When I was a much older, We got a computer, which was a strange and wonderful thing for me, I could learn about and love Robin in a way I never could before. I watched and listened to him every chance that I could. Being ill, and also having a very dramatic life, I did not get to enjoy Robin’s Beauty nearly as much as I wish I could have. Robin had a very daring and unpredictable personality when he was a child. A devasting train crash left Robin forever transformed Emotionally, he become wildly Deep, wise far beyond his years. He seemed like an old soul himself, and he already had very deep and profound thoughts. His emotions were so vulnerable and entirely sincere, it made his voice such an ethereal thing to hear. Robin always said “I don’t sing with my voice, I sing With my Heart” and you can hear and appreciate in every single song, verse, la de la, and note that Robin ever sang. I find myself wishing I could have a second life just to spend revealing in the wonders and beauty of Robin’s Gorgeous voice. Robin’s face and Body are other worldly beautiful, His ever changing hair, his soulful angel eyes, his sensual stare, his sexy and shapely figure, and his Divine Smile, can just move me to tears on their own. Robin is one of the only souls ever to be so truly Tender and Beautiful as he is. This is why over and over again, People are drawn to him, and Fall in love with his voice, And fall in love with him. I love Robin, and I will think of him everyday of my life, I will love him a little bit more with each passing day, and I feel that I am so grateful, to have been born into a world, that has Robin Gibb in it to Cherish.
Maurice Gibb
Maurice Gibb has Magic. A magical charm, and Magical hands, Maurice can play Magically on the piano, and he can effortlessly cast a spell over us all with his Soft and Stunning guitar playing. Another stunning feature of Maurice’s is his beauty, Maurice was always very handsome, with somber and sweet eyes, and a Sweet smile of sunlight, Maurice was always quite a looker. Maurice’s soft and versatile voice was such an amazing part of the Bee Gees sound. there is not a Bee Gees Song that does not include a Whisp or Windstorm of Maurices magical musical touch. From arranging and writing, To Singing and Stunning, Maurice Has One of The most incredible Musical Gifts Ever To Be, and He shared his glorious Magic with us all. Maurice’s voice tended to sound soft and sweet, it is naturally Beautiful and Dreamy. But he most enjoys singing intensely, and his voice can be incredibly Powerful. Maurice was always a very serious child, unlike his playful and Witty twin, and over the years, Robin would slowly bring out the more Whimsical and humorous side of his twin. Maurice has a much more outgoing Personality than Robin, who is in his own words ” A Very Shy Person,”. Maurice Was a great fan of classical Music, and the influences of these complex and timeless pieces were grasped and transformed by Maurice, into Musical Melodies and Pieces that can Transport you outside of your own body and mind, into a whole different world, unlike any other we will ever experience in our lives. Maurice Gibb, to me, has always been a magical person. A beautiful sight, and immensely musical magician, Maurice is a gift in himself to the earth. I love him dearly, Robin’s very Different, and very Special Twin. Robin and Maurice, have a very special bond, it is so tightly woven, so deeply written in their souls, It is inspiring to witness their love and friendship. And I must add, that Maurice has always been inspiring to me on so may levels. Thank you Maurice. Robin Often calls his twin, Mau, short for Maurice, which is very adorable, and sometimes Maurice calls his twin Rob, short for Robin. I Love them Both Deeply.
Barry Gibb
Barry has a very Strong voice, to match his personality. Barry was The First Of the Gibb Brothers to develop a Fascination with Music. When he was about 9 years, old Barry Made a guitar like instrument out of bits and pieces and old wire he found around the house, and he would play it every night and dream of one day writing and singing songs amongst the stars and artists that he admired. Barry and Dear Little Brother Robin were Huge Beatles fans, and would often try and mimic them in their own Music. Maurice, Littlest of the twins, was also a Beatles fan, But his passions lay more in Classical music. Barry Loved R&B music Aswell, and he greatly admired Many artists such as Otis Redding, and the Stylistics. Barry had the most admired looks, But I personally Think that no other person’s beauty can Rival Robin’s Angel Like Grace and Beauty. Barry has Silky Hair, and Intense and Captivating eyes. To me, Barry always looked the most Like Maurice, though he is usually said to look like Andy. He has a childlike laugh, and All four of the Gibb Brother have an endearing and childlike side to them. The Four Brothers, Barry and Maurice, Robin and Andy, all have a Gentle and Kindly tendency that most adults are lacking. Barry always tried to work at being the best Brother he possibly could to his three little Brothers, and to his Sister. Older siblings may Naturally have a want to overpower their younger siblings, but Barry tried to fight this natural pattern, and the respect and listen to his Little Brothers. The Result was not Perfect, But it was the Most Loving, Caring and devoted relationship That I have ever witnessed in a family, and The love Between Barry and His Brothers, (and his sister) Will last Forever and for all time. As will our Love For Robin, Maurice and Barry, and of course Andy. My greatest wish, is that there is never a world on this earth, without The Bee Gees, to make it Beautiful.
Andy Gibb
Baby brother Andy Gibb has one of the most emotional voices ever. It can be strong and Tender, in a fashion similar to Robin’s voice. Andy has an amazing range, his voice lends itself to tender love songs, just as easily as it shines like fire in sexy and powerful R&B style song. Andy Found himself dreaming of Music since his earliest memories. He was as a child, in awe of his brothers Musical Powers, and he longed to preform and to create Music like they did. Much Like The Twins, Robin and Maurice had, Andy quit school, upon entering his teen years to Dare to follow his dream of Making Music. Andy was a Natural at Music, Just like His Brothers, Andy sang Beautifully and Skillfully. Andy Has this Beautiful innocent look in his eyes, his physical beauty only adds tremendously to the wonderous experience of watching him preform. The way his silky blond hair moves with him as he moves with emotion of the music, is truly beautiful to watch. Andy wanted to join his Brothers on Tour and to become Part of the Bee Gees, but Barry, trying his hardest to put His brothers first, he worried that this might put a strain on Andy. Andy was like his Brothers, Very Emotional, and deep, Feeling and sensitive. But Andy had different vulnerabilities, and an innocence. Barry worried Andy would be Criticized and ridiculed, and compared too much to Robin, Maurice and Himself, if he joined in right away. So Barry, Robin and Maurice wrote songs crafted just for Andy, and set the stage and spotlight for him, Hoping if the world could see first Andy’s Undeniable and unbelievable Talent, That they would Be kinder when and if he did join the Bee Gees. In 1978, plans were being made for Andy to finally Join his brothers, and become the fourth musketeer on stage, and finally be an official Bee Gee. But the untimely end of disco Impacted the mis-categorized Bee Gees, Who were really exploring being Blue eyed Soul artists opposed to Disco artists as they have been labeled throughout the years. Andy Was Unable to Join his Brothers, after the turbulence of the times made touring too dangerous and impossible, even for the Bee Gees Themselves to do. Once The Bee Gee had reclaimed what was rightfully theirs in the 1980’s Andy was finally to Become “one for all” with his fellow Musketeers and brothers, on their “one for all tour”. But once again the cruel and unexplainable ways of life kept this dream from coming true. Andy Gibb was the teen sweetheart at the top of all Dream Boys, when he emerged with his Groovy Music and Poetic lyrics. A sweetheart always, Andy in my mind was the fourth Bee Gee, and the times he did sing with His Brothers are Precious to me, and to the world. Together the Four Gibb Brothers create A harmony of angelic voices, creating one of the most ethereal sound human ears can listen to.
Why The World Needs The Bee Gees
No one can ever Figure out what Makes Dreams come true. In having Their Beautiful Dream come True, The Bee Gees Made also made all of ours come true. Every time they showed their faces, They made our Dreams come true, Getting to see such Beautiful faces, whenever they Shared themselves with us. Every time they sang, Our Dreams came True. They didn’t just sing songs, They sang Emotions, ones we all feel, the ones we hide, the ones we speak of, they let us hear what emotion sounds like. And also Whenever they sang, They shared with us a little of bit of their Glorious and Gentle hearts and souls. We all got to love them. When they sang all of those beautiful Lyrics, Those heartbreakingly beautiful Words, They Took us to heaven, they showed us Paradise, all this journey and pleasure reached, with only the sounds of their ethereal voices.
